When is the optimal time for taking spermidineLIFE®?
We recommend taking two pills once daily with a meal. The time of day is not so important so long as it remains consistent each day. Experience has shown that this is also the best way to prevent people from forgetting to take a pill.
If you - like some other customers - prefer not to take both capsules with a single meal, and instead spread the pills over two meals, this is fine as well. Again, we recommend taking the pills at/around the same time each day.
If you forget to take a capsule, it can be taken the next day in addition to the "normal daily ration" without any problems - there is no risk of overdose as long as the daily dose does not exceed 8 capsules (which is the absolute highest daily dose approved by the EFSA)".
How long must/should spermidineLIFE® be taken?
Our product boosts the body's natural production of Spermidine, so long as you are taking our supplement you will continue to receive the benefits.

Our product has no specific age restrictions. However, as is the case with most other food supplements, it is highly recommended that pregnant women, nursing mothers, and children avoid the product. If you are unsure whether or not you should be taking Spermidine capsules, speak with your doctor.
Can spermidineLIFE® also be used without the capsule shell (in case of swallowing problems)?
Yes, you're more than welcome to dissolve the contents of the pill in water then drink it. The what germ extract is water soluble, making it easy to dissolve. You can also dissolve the contents into yogurt, apple sauce, etc.
How many mg spermidine is contained in one spermidineLIFE® capsule?
spermidineLIFE® contains 400mg of spermidine-rich CelVio® wheat germ extract per capsule. The recommended daily dose is the (2) capsules containing 800mg of spermidine-rich CelVio® wheat germ extract
Is the dosage dependent on body weight?
In order not to make the intake too complicated, we have decided to give provide a general consumption recommendation of 2 capsules - independent of body weight. As always, we recommend consulting with your doctor before making any changes to your diet.
What is the maximum dosage of spermidineLIFE® capsules you should take in a day?
As approved by the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES) and European Food safety Authority (ESFA), a maximum dosage of spermidineLIFE® is 8 capsules per day (though this is not recommended). If you have taken a large dosage of the product and are beginning to feel negative side effects, please seek a doctor immediately or dial 9-1-1 (US Residents). Talk to your doctor about how many spermidine capsules you should be taking daily.
Should I take the recommended dosage of two spermidineLIFE® capsules at one time or should I spread them out over the course of the day, taking one in the morning and one at night?
Our team of researches has been studying the difference between taking two capsules at one time and spreading the consumption out over the course of the day. While we have not found any significant differences in the way the product is consumed by the body, we highly recommended taking your entire daily dosage at one time. This is mainly due to the fact that spreading it out across the entire day makes it easier to forget a dosage. We recommend finding a time of day that is easiest to remember. You should take your spermidineLIFE® capsules at this time every day.
If I take other dietary supplements, is it possible for me to measure the specific impact spermidineLIFE® capsules have on my body over the other supplements that I’m taking?
The best way to measure the impact spermidineLIFE® is having on your body is by leaving as many parameters as possible unchanged. The intake of spermidineLIFE® capsules should be the only major change to your body. This will allow you to more accurately see the specific impact spermidineLIFE® is making. If you add several new products at once, it will be difficult for you to identify which supplement is doing what.
Will I experience any negative side effects if I choose to stop taking the product?
The consumption of our product increases the body's natural production of spermidine, this being said if you elect to stop taking our product your body's natural production of spermidine will return to its previous level.As approved by the AGES/ESFA, a maximum dosage of spermidineLIFE® is 8 capsules per day (though this is not recommended). If you have taken a large dosage of the product and are beginning to feel negative side effects, please seek a doctor immediately or dial 9-1-1 (US Residents). Is it safe to take spermidineLIFE® capsules after the expiration date?
Thorough laboratory analysis has shown that you can still take spermidineLIFE® capsules after the minimum shelf life. Our research has also found that the spermidine levels remain the same after expiration. However, we can not give any guarantees regarding the shelf life of the capsules after the specified minimum shelf life. Users taking the capsules after the expiration date are doing so at their own risk.
Will I experience any side effects if I take more than the recommended 2 capsules of SpermidineLIFE® per day?
We have received approval from the AGES/EFSA that the maximum dosage is 8 capsules. Anything between the 2 capsules and 8 capsules range can be regarded as harmless. We are working on a higher-dose product that will meet the needs of customers who want an even higher spermidine intake.
Can you place SpermidineLIFE® capsules into a pillbox?
SpermidineLIFE® capsules can be placed in a pillbox assuming you follow these three basic storage instructions:
- The pillbox is sealed
- The pillbox must provide dry storage, protecting the capsules from humidity, heat and light
- After opening the bottle for the first time, the SpermidineLIFE® capsules should be consumed within 2 months
Following these safe storing guidelines, you will have no issues putting your SpermidineLIFE® capsules into a pillbox.
What is the shelf-life/expiration date for spermidineLIFE®?
The minimum shelf life of SpermidineLIFE® is 12 months after opening the package. The product should be stored in a dry location protected from heat and light. We have designed a capsule shell that protects the contents of the capsule from outside elements, but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t handle it with care. If stored properly, our product can be safe to take even after the minimum shelf life date has passed.
Is it possible to take the spermidineLIFE® capsules during the fasting period (interval fasting) or does it interrupt it?
Officially, we must advise that you seek advice from a healthcare practitioner on this topic. Additionally, as you may find in your own research on the topic, the science is still not clearly settled on what exact type and amount of calories kicks our bodies out of autophagy.
That being said, it is generally recognized that the trigger for “ending” a fast is when the body creates an insulin response. While most of the contents of spermidineLIFE® clearly fall into the “healthy fats” category of the food groups, there is a tiny amount of carbohydrates in spermidineLIFE®, approximately 5mg per serving. From our early research, this volume is generally insufficient to trigger an insulin response; thus, spermidineLIFE® should not be considered a fast “breaker.”
Below are our general guidelines for spermidineLIFE® consumption while fasting:
Intermittent Fasting: If you are intermittent fasting, we recommend taking spermidineLIFE® with your last meal of the day to enhance your body’s move into ketosis and autophagy.
Extended (24+ hour) Wet Fast: Take spermidineLIFE® with water at the same time of day as you normally take it during an extended wet fast to enhance autophagy during your fast.
Extended Dry Fast: As liquid intake with spermidineLIFE® appears to aid in digestion, we do not recommend taking spermidineLIFE® during an extended dry fast. Resume taking spermidineLIFE® after your dry fast to ensure lasting benefits of autophagy.
